BECOME AN AUTO GLAZING MASTER

Master technician graduates can demonstrate advanced skills in auto glazing work and are sought after by employers.
To be eligible, you would normally have a minimum 5 years' experience in an auto glazing role, hold the lower level ATA and have a minimum of two years post accreditation experience in an appropriate role, or hold a relevant NQF qualification at the same level and have a minimum of two years post qualification experience in an appropriate role. As with all ATA qualifications, graduates need to sign a code of conduct agreement.

  • Removal and refitting of the same complex windscreen
  • Diagnose and rectify complex faults in a drop glass
  • Cut, shape and install flat laminate glass
  • Diagnose and rectify technical problems
